Benefits & Coverage

Many extended health plans include coverage and direct billing for services provided by a Registered Psychologist.
Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm your benefits.
If your insurance plan includes a Health Spending Account (HSA), you may be able to use these funds toward psychological services. Payment is due at the time of your appointment, after which you will receive a receipt to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
For plans that do not offer direct billing, you can submit your receipt directly to your provider. Therapy fees may also be eligible as a medical expense for tax purposes.

NIHB Benefits
If you are eligible for coverage through the Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) Program, mental health counselling may be covered through the program. I am enrolled as an NIHB mental health counselling provider and can submit eligible claims directly on your behalf.
Coverage and eligibility are determined by NIHB, so please confirm your benefits and available coverage prior to booking.
